The California Business Education Leadership Project
California's Business Education Leadership Project is supported by the California Department of Education and the Federal Perkins IV Act, to identify, develop, and disseminate standards-based curriculum and assessment tools for CTE programs in the Finance & Business, Information Technology, and Marketing Sales & Services industry sectors. BELP provides professional development and support for programs that improve the career and technical skills and career pathway choices of students, through rigorous and standards-based career and technical education.
Foundation for Business Education (FABE)
FABE is a nonprofit corporation which supports business education projects of the California Business Education Association or its members. Past support has included such projects as development of the CBEA web site and a former publication entitled The California Business Teacher. FABE also supports student organizations such as Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and DECA, an association of high school marketing students. In addition, FABE administers the Lee Thompson scholarship for business educators.
